Privacy policy
Short version: we collect almost nothing.

Who we are
Monoglyph Ltd is a software company registered in England and Wales, company number 17364027, with its registered office at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. For anything in this policy, the controller of your data is Monoglyph Ltd and the person to email is hello@monoglyph.co.uk.
What this website collects
Nothing, by design, unless you choose to write to us. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, uses no trackers and loads no third-party scripts in your browser. Fonts are served from our own domain, so your visit is not disclosed to any font or CDN provider. We make no automated decisions about you and we do not profile anyone.
Hosting logs
The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes technical request data (such as IP addresses) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not access or combine this data with anything else. Cloudflare's own privacy policy is at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
If you contact us
Whether you email us or use the contact form, we receive your name, your email address and whatever you write. Giving us any of it is voluntary; we just can't reply without an address.
We use it for one purpose: to reply and carry on the conversation you started. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests, the interest being that we can run our business and answer the people who ask us questions. We do not add you to mailing lists and we do not use your details for marketing.
Form submissions pass through our infrastructure and may appear in short-lived server logs for at most 7 days. The conversation itself we keep as ordinary business correspondence: as long as the matter it relates to stays live, plus what UK law expects us to keep for company records, and then it goes.
Who else handles your data
Two infrastructure providers process data on our behalf: Cloudflare, Inc. (hosting and delivery) and Resend, Inc. (email delivery for the contact form). Both are US companies, so your message may be processed in the United States. Those transfers are covered by the UK's approved safeguards: the UK–US data bridge where the provider is certified under it, and standard contractual clauses otherwise. Nobody else sees your data, and we never sell it.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR), you can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask for a copy of it in a portable format, and ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict what we do with it or stop processing it altogether. You also have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests, ours included. Email hello@monoglyph.co.uk and we will sort it out. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If this site ever starts collecting more (for example, privacy-friendly analytics), this page will say so before it happens.
